Copernicus Training and Information Session

The European Commission, in partnership with the Malta Council for Science and Technology is organising this conference aligned to local needs, with subject areas covering Copernicus for GI Professionals, Copernicus for Entrepreneurs and Developers, Copernicus for Public Users, Copernicus Land Monitoring Service, Copernicus Emergency Management Service and Copernicus for Coastal Zone Management.

The event aims to promote awareness of the many uses of Copernicus data and information, while providing the opportunity for hands on demonstrations and basic training regarding:

  • The data and information available;
  • Its potential uses and applications, both generally and amongst specific categories of users or business sectors;
  • The tools available to access the data and information;​​
  • Use cases and tutorials for entrepreneurs on Copernicus business applications;
  • Financing opportunities to foster market development and user uptake;
  • The potential uses of Copernicus data and information for start-ups and developers.

The Copernicus Training and Information Sessions target both Copernicus “intermediate” and end user communities.
